Do you want to change your admin password for your Netgear router? When you buy a brand new Netgear router it is configured with some default factory settings. When you use the local web address routerlogin.com to access your router web based interface, it asks you for the username and the password. The default username is admin and the default password is password.
To improve the security of the network, you must change the default password and put a dedicated strong password.

To Change the Admin and Password on your Netgear Router Follow the Below Steps –
Step 1 – Launch a web browser from your computer or smartphone that is connected to your router’s network.
Step 2 – Now type routerlogin.net into the address bar of your web browser.
Step 3 – Now click enter or tap the search button.
A login window will popup.
Step 4 – Now enter the router username and password.
Note : The default username is admin and the default password is password.
Now the basic home page will be displayed.
Step 5 – Now type your old password and enter your dedicated new password two times.
Step 6 – To recover your password in the near future select Enable Password recovery.
Step 7 – Now click on the apply button.
